袁淮参加家族试炼，却在试炼中被恶人夺走获得修仙名额，母亲被害死，妹妹被掳走，自己更被打成重伤丢下山崖。在崖底濒死之时遇到万年前被镇压在五指山下的孙悟空，获得机缘拜师后重获新生，逃出崖底为母报仇，又在孙悟空的帮助下踏入仙门，走上修仙救妹之路。
